  Resuming door to door September 1st

  gb worried about not enough coming to in person meetings.

  what are they going to be like when they realise not only jdubs don’t want to go to in person meetings but they really don’t want to go back on the min.

  zoom has so much more appeal for rather than meetings or door to door.

  I thought the pandemic was over. Must be - people are back in work, fully vaxxed going off with COVID cause the sun is shining and they want a long weekend. See everything is back to normal, they just renamed the common cold/flu (depending on how bad your snuffles are) COVID. They are vaxxed against it, cause you can't vaxx against such a thing but various people in medical profession have made a lot of money from the vaxx to pay for the moorings of their yachts.

  And if you wonder why people die of COVID - its cause everyone drowns in their own phlegm if they live long enough. It used to be called pneumonia.

  No pension no preparation for retirement

  a lot of my ex fellow servants must be now in their seventies, what can you do?.

  no children no money no home.

  it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.

  The prodigal son was ok. Dad looked after him. Likewise if the penny drops with any of them that they are eating the proverbial pig food and decide to leave, for the right reasons they'll be ok. If they stay in it'll be a different matter. You really do have to leave WT for life to radically improve.

  One thought - if someone chooses to spill the beans of what they know, there might be a living in it. But maybe even that will not be required. Its funny how well things work out sometimes when you do the best you know to do the right thing. You cannot always second guess what is going to happen.

  Road to Nowhere - you are right petrol is expensive and pioneers are poor. So they might start using those communal electric bikes and aim to go from charge point to charge point. Maybe it'll be an incentive to find friendly return visits so they can literally recharge their batteries.

  They don't like the cart crashes. And before door-to-door stopped people were being filmed as they arrived at the door with their mobile devices. I expect there will be more videos of them. Might even be able to track and trace by their faces and compare/contrast how they deal with householders questions.

  i look at tv and the media as all fiction.. i wonder if the media is now just a tool to cauterise the brain and zombify us?

  i'm sure the uk's bbc does.

  it seems to be a tool to brainwash people to buy into latest agenda or trend that must be followed.....or you're an outcast like a disfellowshipped one.

  where your mental image of a place does not match up with where you intellectually know it actually is?

  if i'm reading about the norman invasion or d-day i always see it in my head as crossing the channel east-west / west-east.
